An approach to effective presentation are the following:

1. Preparation. These includes planning for your presentation, knowing the audience, speaking comfortably and clearly, talk to your audience and enjoy your presentation.

2. Effective slides. Only necessary information must be contain on the slide most preferably key words. Also avoid mega words that seem you are reading a story. It is effective to have seven words a line and seven lines a slide.

3. Graphics. Prevent information graphically. Graphics need to be big and bold. Do more than two graphics each slide. Also, if there is a need to have an analysis then do with graphs, diagram and tables to show relationship, comparison and changes. Different graphs serve different purposes. Hence, diagrams are used to demonstrate.

4. Colors. Limit used of color. Use color that contrast. Dark background with light text is the best.

5. Font Basics
Font size should range between 18-48 and use system fonts.

6. Type Basics
All capital are hard to read so use uppercase for the first letter and avoid abbreviation.

7. Templates
Use template for your slides. Standard position, colors and slides with logo in the bottom right corner.
